Single Phase Bridge Firing Circuit

Specification:

• Line synchronized IC based linear firing circuit for SCR applications.

• Line synchronization achieved by 230 / 9V step down transformer.
• Four nos. firing pulses to trigger four SCRs.
• 1:1:1 Pulse transformer used for gate pulse isolation.
• One no. potentiometer used to vary the firing angle (180° - 0°).
• All four pulses terminated on the front panel for external SCR device module interface.
• Carrier logic circuit implemented for SCR self start, carrier frequency 4KHz.
• Debounce logic circuit implemented for SCR gate pulse ON/OFF.
• One no. toggle switch for gate pulse ON/OFF.
• 230V, 5Hz AC input, fuse provided for over load protection.
• One no. ON/OFF switch with LED indication for power ON/OFF.
• Provision to control the firing angle through external 0 to 5V DC.
